Hair Clip Care Guide
About Our Materials
Our hair accessories are thoughtfully crafted from Cellulose Acetate. The clip body is handmade using cellulose derived from wood pulp and cotton fibers.
Each piece is individually handcrafted, which means your accessory is truly one-of-a-kind. Slight variations in color patterns and hues might occur. These claw clips are handmade :)
Essential Care Instructions
Moisture Protection
Avoid water-heavy environments such as showers, bathtubs, pools, saunas, and steam rooms. Extended exposure to moisture can lead to rust and deterioration of the metal spring components.
If your clips get wet: Dry them completely, paying special attention to all metal parts. Gently wipe clean and allow to air dry, or use a hair dryer on a low heat setting.
Heat Avoidance
Protect from high temperatures by avoiding hot cars, direct sunlight for extended periods, and heated styling tools. Excessive heat can cause discoloration, warping, and material weakening.
Simple rule: If it's too hot for your phone, it's too hot for your clips.
Gentle Handling
While our clips are designed for durability, treat them with care during daily use and storage. Avoid dropping or applying excessive force when opening and closing.
Special Care for Transparent Colors
Transparent hair clips may experience visible color shifts when exposed to intense sunlight over extended periods. To maintain their original appearance:
- Store clips away from direct sunlight
- Limit continuous sun exposure to under one hour
- Consider rotating between clips for daily wear
Storage Tips
- Keep clips in a cool, dry drawer or jewelry box
- Avoid leaving in hot cars or windowsills
- Store separately to prevent scratching
Proper care helps maintain your clips' beauty and function.
